Located on E. 6th St. in the heart of Austin’s downtown entertainment district, Inn Cahoots offers stylish & spacious accommodations for large groups! We specialize in large group travel including corporate, family, and friend gatherings. Our property was designed for groups wanting to create moments together in Austin! The hybrid hotel / AirBnB model allows us to offer our guests the best of both worlds: the comfort of a private living room and kitchen coupled with the standards of a hotel all on almost a full block of outdoor garden space.

This 4200 sq. ft. penthouse-style suite includes 2 kitchens, 2 living/dining areas & 2 half baths downstairs, plus 10 bedrooms (w/ up to 26 beds) & 6 full bathrooms upstairs! 

Guests also have access to a pool, rooftop bar, a swanky cocktail lounge, and garden space where you'll find cornhole games, food trucks and live music!

The Space

Our place is tailor-made to suit your large group and guarantee a fun and comfortable stay. Every unit has a large lounge/ living space, full size kitchen, dining tables, plus bedrooms and bathrooms. The units also have a unique, luxurious design to help you enjoy whatever brings you to Austin. From family reunions, to birthday celebrations, to bachelor/ette parties, to corporate retreats, we specialize in helping large groups create memorable moments together!!

This listing is for Combined Units 2&3, which are split-level suites with kitchen, living, dining area and half bath on the first floor, plus a total of 10 bedrooms (w/ up to 26 beds) and 6 full bathrooms on the second floor. There is one other unit like these two, which is Unit 1. The first floor living spaces of Units 1-3 are separated by retractable walls that can be opened or closed to combine the downstairs living spaces. They also have exterior facing, frosted-glass garage doors that open out onto the pool veranda, creating an indoor/outdoor feel. Finally, Units 4 and Unit 5 are single-level suites with a kitchen, living and dining area, plus 4 bedrooms (w/ up to 11 beds) and 3 full bathrooms all on the third floor. Unit 5 has the added bonus of a private, outdoor patio area!

NOTE: All five units are fully self-contained and private. The pool will be private to each unit for 3 hours every day, scheduled online by the groups. 

Guest Access

In addition to your own private unit, which includes a living room, full kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, you will have access to:

- Pool & Pool Courtyard Area, which will be available for your group to privately reserve for 3-hour time slots each day of your stay!

- Access to an expansive 3,500 sq. ft. outdoor roofdeck with amazing views of the downtown Austin skyline!

- A large garden space with food trucks, yard games, and bar-style TVs for sports and food trucks!

Other things to note

Every unit is equipped with an iPad that connects to speakers for wireless music control!

The pool is small (about 8x24ft). It's perfect for cooling off during the hot summer months in Austin, and enjoyed in the off season, but please note the pool is not heated. But, Austin can be enjoyed year round. Your group will be able to privately reserve the pool for a 3-hour time slot each day of your stay!

We have limited on-site parking available for our guests (3 spots), but there is plenty of metered street parking nearby and offsite parking can be arranged by request! The on-site spots are first-come, first-serve.

WHY ARE WE THE ONLY LEGAL PLACE TO HOST MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE?

Inn Cahoots has a hotel operating license, meaning that the City code restricting the number of guests that can stay in a short-term rental does NOT apply to us! This is why we boast that we are the ONLY place in Austin that you can legally host a group of more than 6 unrelated guests or 10 adults total.

*This combination of units has a MAX of 26 beds: x10 queens (bottom bunk), x10 fulls (top bunk), and x6 rollaway singles. The "up to 46" number assumes guests double up in both the bottom bunk queens and top bunk fulls, with individuals in the singles.
